Chief Asiuwhu Welcomes Hon. Ovbije on Familiarization Tour of Urhobo Communities in Patani LGA”

Today, 19th of August, 2023, the Hon Sylvester Ovbije, the Commissioner representing Ughelli North, Ethiope East & Urhobos in Patani L.G.As of Delta State, on the board of DESOPADEC, visited Uduophori federated communities & ODORUBU federated in Patani Local Government Area, in Continuation of familiarization tour /need assessment tour to his mandate areas.

The Leadership of the hosts communities led by Olorogun Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu JP  gave a warmed embrace to the Honourable Commissioner for the visit and initiative.
After introduction & purpose of his visit, Hon. Ovbije expressed satisfaction for the hospitality accorded him and his entourage.
Consequently, Chief Asiuwhu among others, spoked concerning the needs of the host communities, and urged him to recognize the Urhobos in Patani LGA in the scheme things in the DESOPADEC administration.

Responding, Hon. Ovbije promised that, that their requests would be positively looked into and would be presented to His Excellency, Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State.
Furthermore, he assured that by the grace of God, the footprint of his tenure would be seen in the various communities under his mandate areas .
